Pickup at your hotel in Kathmandu, transfer to domestic airport. Fly to Phakding in the morning and then after sometime trek to Namche Bazaar through via Benkar and Jorsalle. It takes about six hours to reach Namche Bazaar.
The trail goes through rhododendron forest to reach Tengboche, the main monastery of the Khumbu area. Tengboche lies at the base of Kangtega and its ridge offers spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamaserku, Tawache and Khumbila. The trek is about 6 hours walk.
Descend from Tengboche and cross Imja Khola to reach Pangboche, spectacular views all around. Proceed to Dingboche. The total time to reach Dingboche would be 5 hours.
After 5 hours trek you reach to Labuche. It is a normal meadow between glacier and the Labuche peak (6145m). You can feast your eyes on Tawoche (6542m) and Nuptse
(7879m) towering almost 2 kms directly overhead.
On this day, the trek involves going to and returning from Kalapatthar (5545m). So early start is necessary. The trail goes along the Khumbu glacier through masses of rocks. Ascend Kalapattar for Panoramic views of Pumori (7161m), Mt. Everest 8848m, the Tibetan peak Changtse (7501m) and many other peaks. This is also possibly the best vantage point for viewing Mt. Everest and other famous peaks in the area
Early start to Everest Base camp and return to Pheriche. Descend all the way to Pheriche.
After breakfast and some time exploring around we fly to Kathmandu. You will be picked up in Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel.
