Kanchanjunga Base Camp Trek – A 17-Day Himalayan Adventure to Nepal’s Remote Eastern Frontier
Explore the Untouched Beauty of the Kanchenjunga Region

The Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek is a once-in-a-lifetime journey through Nepal’s remote eastern Himalayas, leading to the south base camp of the world’s third-highest mountain, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586m). This 17-day trek takes adventurers across an incredible variety of landscapes—from lush subtropical forests and terraced fields to alpine woodlands and majestic glaciers.

Protected under the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, the region is a haven for biodiversity. Funded by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), conservation efforts have made it possible to encounter rare species such as the snow leopard, red panda, and Asian black bear. Bird lovers can look out for exotic Himalayan birds like the golden-breasted fulvetta, blood pheasant, and snow cock.

Why Choose the Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek?

  • Stunning Mountain Views: Witness breathtaking panoramas of Kanchenjunga, Kabru, Mount Janu, and the far-reaching Himalayan range.
