The Kanchenjunga South Base Camp Trek offers trekkers an opportunity to witness spectacular views of snow-capped mountain peaks and traverse a diverse landscape that ranges from subtropical lowlands to rhododendron and alpine forests, culminating in magnificent glaciers. This region is protected under the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area project, funded by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), which works to preserve endangered animals. Kabru is notable as the southernmost 7,000m peak in the world. From Ramche, trekkers can hike to a ridge that offers stunning views of the Kanchenjunga South Face. Further ahead, you can also view the south face of Mount Janu, Nyukla Lanchung, and other awe-inspiring Himalayan peaks.
