Magical Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake Trek

Explore the stunning Everest region with the 19-day Magical Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lake Trek. A moderate to strenuous adventure, this trek includes daily hikes of 6–7 hours, reaching a high point of 5,545 meters at Kala Patthar. It’s one of the most scenic and rewarding treks in Nepal, combining the iconic Everest Base Camp with the serene beauty of Gokyo Lakes.

About the Trek :

This classic route begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by a gradual trek through the charming Sherpa villages of Phakding, Monjo, and Namche Bazaar. The trail winds through lush forests, suspension bridges, and the vibrant Dudh Koshi Valley, eventually ascending into alpine terrain.

Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, provides the first acclimatization stop. From here, the views get increasingly spectacular—with Thamserku, Kangtega, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and the mighty Everest dominating the horizon.

Tengboche is home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, set against the stunning backdrop of Ama Dablam. From there, the trail follows the Imja Khola through Pangboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche—each offering breathtaking landscapes and local cultural experiences.

At Gorakshep (5,160m), trekkers rest before visiting Everest Base Camp (5,364m). For those seeking unforgettable sunrise views of Mount Everest, a hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) is a must.

The Gokyo Valley Experience

After visiting Everest Base Camp, the journey continues through the dramatic Cho La Pass (5,420m) toward the pristine Gokyo Valley. This less-traveled gem features turquoise glacial lakes and spectacular panoramas of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Lhotse.

A hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m) offers some of the best Himalayan views imaginable. The trek continues via the tranquil settlements of Dole and Namche before returning to Lukla.
