The Comfort Everest Sherpa villages trek takes us from the tiny airstrip at Lukla to the lap of Everest following the Classic route to Everest base camp. This is a Moderate trek. Average walking hours would be 4 to 5 hours each day. The paths and trails are generally wide and well-marked.
Everest Sherpa villages trek is designed to accommodate trekkers who prefer a comfortable stay while trekking on the classical route to Everest. This trail takes you to the lovely Sherpa villages like Manjo, Namche Bazaar, Syangboche, Khumjung, Khunde, Debuche, and a short helicopter shuttle to Everest Base Camp and back to Lukla.
During the trek you stay in a comfort mountain lodges. All these lodges are located in Lukla, Phakding, Monjo, Namche, Thame, Kongde and Debuche which lies in the main trekking trail to Everest region. Every individual site of the lodges is chosen taking precaution for environmental impact approved by the Government providing the best view. Each room is designed to offer the guests with modern comfort.
Anyone with a reasonably fit, but you don’t have an experience can enjoy this trip. If you have trekking experience would work wonder while going through these trails. Your trek leaders will ensure we take a comfortable pace on the trail and you will have Sherpa support every step of the way.
If you do little jog, walking exercise and cycling at your home country before coming to Nepal you should find this trek well within your means. You will be pampered by a hot shower and many other creature avail on this trek makes each day’s trekking even more of a joy!

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1400m). Transfer to hotel. In Kathmandu. Stay 5 star Hotel
Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m), trek to Monjo (2850m)- stay at comfort lodge
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3445m) – Stay stay at comfort lodge
Day 04: In Namche, hike to Khumjung/Khunde (3840m). stay at comfort lodge
Day 05: Trek to Debuche (3820m) – stay at comfort lodge
Day 06: Phortse Excursion, Debuche – stay at comfort lodge
Day 07: Hike to Amadablam Base Camp (4600m) for panoramic view and back to Pangboche (Height: 3930m) – stay at comfort lodge
Day 08: Short Everest sightseeing, heli to Lukla, Fly to Kathmandu with regular flight. Stay 5 star Hotel

Fly to Lukla. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and the landing at the small mountain airstrip is something you will be talking about for many years to come. After landing on the newly resurfaced airstrip, you will probably have a cup of tea at one of the lodge in Lukla before commencing trek. Bypass several villages before making a lunch stop at a beautiful spot alongside the Thada Kosi (river) below the base of the Kusum Kangru Himal. The second half of the trek to Monjo does not take more than 3 hours. The next big tourist village on the way to Monjo is Phakding (8700 ft/ 2,652 m). The entire walk from Lukla to Monjo is mostly easy walking over gentle up and down hills. Memories of the first day will include the sounding birds, the sights of porters with loads resting on sticks outside tea houses, tired trekkers on their way back to Lukla, prayer flag poles, the gaudy colors of the tea houses and ofcourse the dramatic scenery. Warm welcome tea served with cookies and cakes await you at the Monjo Lodge.
Five minutes beyond the lodge, you enter into Everest National Park area where entry formalities have to be completed. Today will be one of the harder days of the trek but we take it slowly, enjoying the scenery as you climb gradually upto Namche Bazar. Along the way there are two suspension bridges to cross as you zig zag up the Dudh Kosi river to reach at the base of the climb to Namche. A long steep climb but with several stops to catch your breath, and a slow pod, we make our way steadily upwards. The trail to Namche Bazar is a well marked, comfortable broad trail. Walking in the cool part of the morning it is easier to breathe and get used to the increasing altitude. After a easy paced three hours of hike you arrive at the heart of Khumbu- Namche Bazar (3540 mts). A well deserved break is planned for lunch and to look around this interesting small town.
Free day in Namche, visit Namche bazaar or beyond Namche to Khumjung and Khunde village, monastery and shop around. You may use local internet facilities to communicate to your loved one from this remote and highest place.
After breakfast, start leisurely to Phunki Thanga mostly easy walk, after lunch the trail climbs up until you reach to Tengboche which is a fascinating hike. Tengboche Monastery is one of the biggest monasteries in Everest region, it is as famous as Namchebazar. It is situated in a beautiful background of Amadablam, Thamaserku and Mt. Everest can be seen from this point. Like Namche it is another must place for tourist to stop. The monastery is a spiritual and cultural center of the region. Visit the monastery and the surrounding area. Trek further to Debuche.
While in Debuche, you have many options. You can visit Phortse (3810m) another lovely Sherpa village.
Today, after good breakfast we will start hike up to Ama Dablam BC, switching to Amabadablam ase camp route, leave luggage at Pangbhoche, walk lightly, first you willcross the Imja Khola river before we start ascending toward Ama Dablam BC. This is an incredible trek as you leave almost all other trekkers behind and visit far less traveled trails. You’ll reach Ama Dablam Basecamp the lunch time, taking in the incredible views and where you can celebrate reaching your goal before heading back down to Pangboche. Overnight at Everest Summit Lodge.
