Tour and exploration
Explore the mystical kingdom of Bhutan on an unforgettable 8-day cultural journey that blends breathtaking Himalayan scenery, ancient Buddhist traditions, and the nation’s unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness. From the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) to serene valleys and centuries-old dzongs, this Bhutan tour offers a rare glimpse into one of the world’s most exclusive travel destinations.
With 72% forest coverage, Bhutan ranks among the most biodiverse countries on Earth. Its landscapes vary from lush subtropical plains to high alpine regions, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Rare wildlife, rhododendron forests, and pristine rivers await you in every valley.
Unlike other countries that focus solely on GDP, Bhutan measures success through Gross National Happiness (GNH)—prioritizing well-being, sustainability, and cultural preservation. This inspiring national philosophy shapes everyday life and offers travelers a refreshing perspective.
Bhutanese culture is deeply rooted in Mahayana Buddhism. Explore traditional festivals (Tshechus), vibrant prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and historic fortresses (Dzongs) that tell stories of faith and resilience. Traditional dress, architecture, and hospitality are proudly preserved and practiced.
No visit to Bhutan is complete without hiking to the sacred Taktsang Monastery, dramatically perched 3,000 feet above Paro Valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress and meditated in a cave. This spiritual site offers not only a challenging hike but also panoramic views and soulful tranquility.
Book Through a Licensed Tour Operator: Bhutan requires all visitors (except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian citizens) to book their trips via a registered Bhutanese tour operator or an international travel partner.
Submit Documents: Share a scanned passport copy (valid for at least 6 months), passport-sized photo, and visa application form.
Pay the Daily Package Fee: This covers accommodation, meals, guide, transportation, and entry permits. The visa fee is usually included in your tour package.
Receive Visa Clearance: Once approved, you’ll receive a visa clearance letter, which must be presented upon arrival at Paro International Airport for entry.
The ideal time to visit Bhutan is during:
Spring (March–May): Rhododendrons bloom, and temperatures are pleasant.
