You will hike to Kapuche Lake (2,450 m) — the lowest glacial lake in Nepal — and continue to Kori Danda (3,800 m), a stunning alpine ridge with panoramic views of Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, and other surrounding peaks. The trek also includes a visit to the Thulek Viewpoint (4,115 m) for one of the finest Himalayan panoramas in the region.

Detailed Itinerary
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Pokhara and take you on a scenic drive through terraced hills and riverside roads to reach Sikles, a well-preserved Gurung village with traditional houses, stone paths, and mountain views.
Overnight: Teahouse in Sikles
Leave behind the village and descend gradually through farmlands and lush forests. Walk alongside the Madi River and cross several suspension and wooden bridges. The trail leads to Hugu Goth, a quiet alpine meadow surrounded by wilderness.
Note: Tented camping is required at Hugu Goth as there are no lodges.
Overnight: Tent Camp at Hugu Goth
Start early for a beautiful hike to the turquoise waters of Kapuche Lake. Located at the base of Annapurna II, this glacial lake is formed by avalanches and surrounded by rocky cliffs. After spending time at the lake, return to Hugu Goth.
Hiking Time: Approx. 2.5 hours ascent, 1.5–2 hours descent
Overnight: Tent Camp at Hugu Goth
Begin ascending through forested trails and high pastures as you gain altitude. Reach Nohtha, a remote alpine grazing area that offers solitude and glimpses of distant peaks.
Overnight: Tent Camp at Nohtha
Today’s trail leads to Kori Danda, a ridge filled with grassy slopes and jaw-dropping views of the Annapurna range. After lunch, take a short side hike to Thulek Viewpoint, one of the highest accessible points on this route.
Overnight: Tent Camp at Kori Danda
Descend along the same trail through alpine meadows, forests, and ridgelines. Arrive back in Sikles, where a warm bed and traditional meal await.
Overnight: Teahouse in Sikles
After breakfast, drive back to Pokhara, concluding your memorable trek through one of Nepal’s most peaceful trekking routes.
