There are many activities to do in the city like, short hike to Sarangkot is highly recommended, which offers the magnificent sight of the sunset, sunrise, and of the whole city beneath. Davis Waterfall, a sublime waterfall in the city is another excursion not to be missed. Pokhara has also developed as an adventure destination in the last decade, offering everything from ultralight flying to paragliding, and from skydiving and ziplining to bungee jumping, Pokhara is a complete holiday package for a perfect vacation.

Naudanda (1443m) – day hike – 6/7 hours
Follow the trail to Sarankot and walk further on the Kaski ridge to Naudanda. It is a large Gurung village, which has become important junction for travelers. There are several lodges and teahouses. The walk along the ridge is a nice and easy all the way to Naudanda. You can see beautiful view of Phewa lake and Pokhara City to the south. Drive back to Pokhara. There is superb view of Annapurna range, particularly Machapuchare (Fishtail peak).
Sarankot (1610m) – day hike – 5/6 hours
It is the closest viewpoint near Pokhara city. The drive to Bindabasini temple is about 10 minutes from the lake area where most tourist hotels are located. The track is along the road that starts from the temple and goes half way to the top. The ridge top is about 3-hour uphill walk. From the end of the road it is about an hour walk. There is a view tower at the top and few teashops for refreshment. We hike back to Pokhara the same day.
Dhampus (1,770m)- day hike – 6/7 hours
A very scenic drive of about 30 minutes takes you past Pokhara to where you start your day hike, this place is called Phedi. You ascend through beautiful farmland as you make your way to the village of Dhampus. There are absolutely stunning views of Machapuchare, made all the more beautiful by the rural scene in front of fields of corn and wheat, small villages and women in brightly coloured saris. Trek further to Kande which is about one and half hour where transport would be waiting, tranfer to hotel at Pokhara (45 minutes).
World Peace Stupa – day hike – 3 hours or 6/7 hours
It is Located on a hill just above the famous lake Fewa facing Mount Fishtail. It is one of the tourist attractions in Pokhara which is built recently. The Stupa offers a great place to see the sun set over Pokhara and panoramic himalaya of Annapurna and Fishtail. It can be accessed by hiring a boat and rowing across the lake and climbing for about 20 minutes, or by trekking from the road that passes Devi Falls. Depending upon your requirement, this trip can be done in half day to full day excursion.
Astam Village Day Hike – 6 hours
After breakfast, drive to Milanchowk at Hemja around 30 minutes. From here your hike starts. Astam village is located 20km north-west of Pokhara in the foothills of Annapurna range. It is famous for its eco- lifestyle. It is popular destination to view sunrise and sunset kissing Annapurna range at 360 degree. You can have traditional Nepali village experience here, the area has lush high green hills, forests, organic fields, mountain ranges that makes Astam village a typically natural place away from city crowd to explore beauty and culture of local people. You can enjoy the pure Nepali organic lunch and same way back to Pokhara.
Australian Camp day Hike – 6 hours
Drive to Kande after breakfast around 7 am. About 40 minutes you reach to the starting point of this trek. There is nice walking trail from Kande to Australian Camp. It takes one hour half walk to reach Australian Camp from Kande. Australian Camp is a beautiful village best known, where on a clear day you can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayan Mountains of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu range and also beautiful green hills. From Australian Camp, we will trek to Dhampus. Dhampus is another nice village. It takes about 1 hour walking from Australian Camp. The trail from Australian Camp to Dhampus is very nice. We walk through jungle. If it is clear day, you will see Annapurna Himalayas on the background. In the middle of the Dhampus village, we will have Lunch. Dhampus is a Nepali typical village. You can still see nice himalayas View if weather is still clear. Now, you trek from Dhampus to Phedi. It takes another two hours walking down to Phedi. The trail is stone steps which is follow by the long generation. From Phedi, 30 minutes’ drive back to your Hotel in Pokhara

Paragliding in Pokhara We offer tandem flights throughout the year, and courses, training and guiding over the winter months. The main area for paragliding is Sarangkot in the Pokhara valley, a site that offers spectacular views of three Annapurnas, Machapuchare, Daulaghiri, Manaslu and many others smaller peaks. The flight happens daily except during the mooson season (June to August).
