Itinerary for Best of Annapurna Panorama with Barang Community Homestay:

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu. Pickup and transfer to Hotel Dusit Prince Kathmandu 
After checking in and resting, begin a cultural tour to Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple to experience the evening Arati. At sunset, Boudhanath glows with butter lamps, spinning prayer wheels, and monks’ chants. Join locals in a peaceful kora around the stupa, one of the holiest Tibetan Buddhist sites. Enjoy tea or a Tibetan meal at rooftop cafes overlooking the illuminated stupa. Then, witness the sacred evening Arati at Pashupatinath Temple, where chanting, bells, and oil lamps along the Bagmati River create a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

Day 02: In Kathmandu: Visit Swaymbhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. Dusit Prince Kathmandu 
After breakfast , start the tour . This culturally rich tour offers a rare chance to see the revered Kumari of Kathmandu at the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square and meet the Kumari of Patan at Patan Durbar Square. Along the way, explore the sacred Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), marvel at the centuries-old palaces, courtyards, and temples of Kathmandu Durbar Square, and discover the exquisite artistry of Patan Durbar Square. A special focus is given to understanding the Kumari tradition – Nepal’s unique Living Goddess culture that bridges spirituality and heritage.

Day 03: Fly to Pohara, trek to Ghandruk (2,012 M): Luxury Lodges of Annapurna  
After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu’s domestic airport. Drive 50 km (2.5 hours) to Kilyu, then begin your trek to Ghandruk. From Pokhara airport, drive through farmland along the Modi Khola River, with Machhapuchhre peak ahead. The trail passes small hamlets, terraced fields, and forests with stunning valley views. After lunch en route, trek 2–3 hours from Kilyu to Ghandruk, a charming Gurung village at 2,012m, known for traditional stone houses, rich culture, and panoramic views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Day 04: Trek to Landruk (1,565 M) : Luxury Lodges of Annapurna 
Following a relaxing breakfast with stunning Himalayan views at the Himalaya Lodge, you start your trek to Landruk. Departing from the village of Ghandruk, the trail descends steeply to the banks of the Modi River. Along the way, you may catch sight of the cliffs where the renowned honey hunters of Nepal skillfully climb on ropes to harvest the nests of the world’s largest (and most dangerous) honey bees. We cross the river via a sturdy suspension bridge and ascend on a switchback trail to reach the village of Landruk. This charming village provides more breathtaking views of the Annapurna range. After a satisfying lunch at the MLN Landruk, our guide will lead you on a sightseeing tour of this picturesque mountain village.

Day 05: Trek to Majhgaon (1,400 M) : Luxury Lodges of Annapurna 
Leaving Landruk and the valley of the Modi Khola, today’s walk contours the valley-side to the east and heads south, with fairly minor undulations, passing through picturesque villages and farmland with great views looking back to the Annapurnas. You will reach MLN Majhgaon in time for lunch. The lodge is built to resemble a traditional Nepalese village and every room has spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains. The afternoon can be spent in the lodge gardens or you can opt to do some exploration to nearby villages with our guide.

Day 06: Trek to Dhampus (1,740 M) : Luxury Lodges of Annapurna 
This morning you start trekking through the unspoilt village of Patlekhet. The walk takes us through sub-tropical forests that include tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias. Along the way, we will stop at the village of Pothana where many Tibetan traders live and sell their souvenirs. Once again, we aim to reach our next lodge in time for lunch. Our accommodation for the night is at the small, but splendid MLN Dhampus, where we are treated to sweeping views of the entire Annapurna Range. After lunch at the lodge there will be an optional walk through the old village of Dhampus.

Distance: 10.5 km | Trek: 5-6 Hrs. | Accommodation: Dhampus | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 07: Trek to Phedi – Drive to Pokhara. In Pokhara : Temple Tree Resort and Spa
After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a short downhill walk along a scenic ridge to the Yangdi Khola Valley, where your vehicle awaits for a 30-minute drive to Pokhara. You may stop at the Tibetan refugee camp and its temple complex. Upon arrival, settle into a comfortable Lakeside resort. Pokhara’s vibrant Lakeside offers shops, cafes, and bars with stunning Annapurna views.

Distance: 5 km | Trek: 2 Hrs. 40 minutes. Temple Tree Resort and Spa

Day 08: With the family at Barang village Community : Barang Community Homestay 
Depart from Pokhara and drive approximately 15 km to be with Barang Community. Barang Community in Kaski is a welcoming rural village known for its rich cultural heritage and traditional Nepali lifestyle. Nestled amidst lush hills, it offers authentic homestay experiences, organic farming, and beautiful views of the Annapurna mountain range.

Afternoon: Engage in Laxmi Puja with the family. Settle into your homestay and enjoy a traditional dal bhat lunch prepared with organic, locally sourced ingredients. Evening: Participate in evening activities with your host family, such as learning to prepare local dishes or enjoying traditional music.
Distance: 15 km | Trek: 15 minutes. 40 minutes. With the Host Family

Day 09: With the family at Barang Comminity :  Barang Community Homestay 
Morning: After a hearty breakfast, take a guided jungle walk in the nearby forest, where you might spot local wildlife like monkeys and various bird species.
Midday: Return to the village for lunch and rest.
Afternoon: Engage in village activities such as organic farming, handicraft making, or cultural exchanges with community members.
Evening: Enjoy a communal dinner featuring traditional dishes like dhido and gundruk, followed by storytelling or local music performances

Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu in the morning. Enjoy the rest exploring Bhaktapur Durbar Square, pottery square : Dusit Prince Kathmandu 
After breakfast, bid farewell to your hosts and drive to Pokhara airport to fly to Kathmandu. After checking in, enjoy your rest of the day at Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Pottery Square: A Living Museum of Heritage

Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a masterpiece of Newari architecture and cultural splendor. Located in the ancient city of Bhaktapur, this square showcases intricately carved temples, palaces, and courtyards that reflect Nepal’s medieval glory.
