Day 1: Arrive in Paro, Bhutan (Lunch and Dinner Included) Your adventure begins as you land in Paro, Bhutan’s sole international airport. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, take some time to relax and acclimate to the serene surroundings. In the evening, explore the Paro town and visit the Paro Dzong, an impressive fortress that also serves as a monastery. Stroll through the quaint streets, soaking in the traditional architecture and the peaceful ambiance.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing – Punakha & Wangdi (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included) After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. Begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the third King of Bhutan. Explore the Buddha Dordenma, a gigantic Buddha statue offering panoramic views of the valley. Visit the Tashichho Dzong, a historic fortress and monastery that houses the offices of the King and government. After lunch, proceed to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at the Dochula Pass to admire the 108 chortens and the stunning views of the Himalayan range. In Punakha, visit the Punakha Dzong, known for its architectural splendor and historical significance.
Day 3: Punakha Sightseeing – Paro (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included) Start your day with a visit to the Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility, which is dedicated to Drukpa Kunley, the “Divine Madman.” Continue your journey to the picturesque town of Paro. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and then visit the Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum of Bhutan. The museum offers a fascinating insight into Bhutanese culture and history through its extensive collection of art and artifacts. End your day with a visit to the Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley.
Day 4: Excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included) Today, embark on a highlight of your Bhutan tour – the excursion to Taktsang Monastery, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest. Perched on a cliffside, 900 meters above the Paro Valley, this iconic monastery is one of Bhutan’s most revered sites. The hike up to the monastery offers stunning views and a sense of tranquility. It is said that Guru Rinpoche flew to this location on the back of a tigress, hence the name “Tiger’s Nest.” After exploring the monastery, descend back to Paro for a well-deserved rest and dinner.
Day 5: Departure (Breakfast Included) After breakfast, bid farewell to the enchanting kingdom of Bhutan as you are transferred to Paro Airport for your departure flight. Reflect on the serene beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality you experienced during your tour. Leave with unforgettable memories and a sense of peace that only Bhutan can impart.

Arrive at the Druk Air check in counter, International Airport, 2 hours prior to departure time. Fly into Paro Bhutan. As you start approaching Bhutan, you can see breathtaking views of the Great Himalayas on this flight. Up on arriving at Paro, where you will be welcomed to the Kingdom by your guide.
Little more than one hour drive will reach you to Thimphu, the Capital City. Check into your hotel and have lunch.

Morning, do some more sightseeing in and around Thimphu. After lunch, transfer to Punakha and Wangdue Valley. Overnight Punakha.
Sightseeing in Punakha and Wangdi Valley. Visit the most Magnificent Punakha Dzong, Famous Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Town and many more. After lunch, drive to Paro for Overnight.
Hike to Taktsang Monastery. Taktsang, meaning "Tiger's nest," is built around a cave in which Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhawa) mediated, clings seemingly impossible to a cliff of rock at 3,000 feet above the valley floor. For the local people it is a place of pilgrimage, but for a tourist, a hike up to the monastery is exhausting, thrilling and mystical. The legend has it that Guru Rimpoche is said to have flown to the site of the monastery on the back of a tigress from Tibet and meditated in the cave there for three months. Overnight Paro.
