The trip of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp

Red Reach Himalaya Trek organized the Everest Base Camp trek for me and my son. It was a dream that we had for years, and the actual experience did not disappoint us. Despite COVID and many other challenges, Red Reach tailored a trek that was perfect for us. Ngima was a wonderful guide and Ajay was a dynamic and helpful porter. They went the extra mile to help us. When my duffle bag broke, they helped me get a new one in Namche. Every detail was planned out perfectly. And when we faced small health challenges (one of us got altitude sickness), Red Reach’s team was there to handle everything and keep us safe. We reached Everest base camp and climbed Kalapattar and enjoyed some of the best views of our lives. When we were returning, the Government of Nepal instituted a lockdown and stopped all flights from Lukla to Kathmandu. But Red Reach made sure that we got back on time. What I especially appreciated was that Ramesh kept phoning the guide to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. I’ve dealt with lots of companies in Nepal and India, and Red Reach is among the very best. May 2021
