Yuksom – The first capital of Sikkim and a gateway to sacred sites like Dubdi Monastery and Sangachoeling.

Day 1–2: Arrive in Darjeeling, city tour including tea gardens, Mountaineering Institute, and Tibetan Refugee Center.
Day 3–5: Travel to Pelling and Yuksom. Visit historical landmarks and enjoy the serene surroundings of Kanchenjunga National Park.
Day 6–7: Relax at Bustee Farm House, explore the countryside through day hikes and engage with the local community.

Foreign nationals must possess a valid Indian tourist visa (e-Visa or stamped). Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date.
Apply for the visa through the official Indian Government e-Visa portal, selecting the appropriate category (“e-Tourist Visa”) and providing a realistic travel itinerary.
Single and double-entry visas allow visits to Darjeeling, Gangtok, and other popular circuits in West Bengal and Sikkim.
North Sikkim (Yuksom, Lachen, Lachung, Yumthang, Dzongri, Gurudongmar) and areas around Darjeeling’s tea estates and Darjeeling Himalayan Railway are designated Protected/Restricted Areas.
Foreign visitors must obtain Protected Area Permits (PAP) or Inner Line Permits (ILP):
These are arranged by your tour operator (Red Reach Himalaya) or can be applied for through Sikkim tourism authorities, Indian immigration, or specialized online portals.
PAP/ILP are typically approved within 3–5 business days, sometimes on-arrival at specific checkpoints (e.g. Rangpo checkpoint), but early preparation by the tour operator ensures smooth travel.
1. A valid Indian visa is mandatory. Border crossing without it is not permitted.
2. Once in West Bengal, to proceed to Darjeeling and Sikkim, the PAP/ILP is also required, as described above.
On arrival meet your local representative and Transfer from Bagdogra Airport to Darjeeling. The drive will begin form the Indian Plains to the hills of tea Garden and then along the Darjeeling Himalayan Rail way. In the entire drive you will enjoy the drive see the tea pluckers and whistle of the Toy train. Arrive Darjeeling Check in at Hotel at Darjeeling. Then rest for a while and then take a walk to the main square of Darjeeling. Here you can see the Local people of Darjeeling and their life style and do some window shopping. Then come back to the Hotel. Leisure overnight.
Today early morning at 4am we visit Tiger Hill From here you can see the Sun Rise over 3rd Highest Peak (Mt Kanchendzonga) After this we visit Yiga-Choling(Ghoom) monastery. This monastery is from the Geluk Sect and has the Future Buddha. See some prayers in the Monastry and come back to the Hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast we visit Japanese Temple to see the ZEN philosophy of Buddhism. After visiting this temple we drive to Darjeeling Rail Station for Toy Train ride till Ghom Station. We will pick you up from Ghoom Station and bring you for Lunch. After Lunch we visit the tea Garden and the tea Factory to see the Prossess how the world famous tea of Darjeeling is made. Then on the way back visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After this sightseeing come back to the Hotel and rest for a while and then in the evening visit the local market. Leisure overnight.
Today at the completion of our early breakfast, we will be escorted to Pelling. Pelling is the small town in Western Sikkim. The drive will be 135 km and will take 6 hours including sightseeing. On the way, we will visit to Teesta Valley View Point, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdenste Palace Ruins Check in at Hotel at Pelling. Evening free at Leisure.
Upon our breakfast, we visit to Khechopalri Lake. The name Khechopalri means Lake of birds in pleasant mountains, but Sikkimese call it Tsho-Sho which means Great Lake.The lake is the foot print of Goddess Tara. Khechopalri lake (1780m) lies in a depression surrounded by prayer flags and forested hills. The tranquility of the lake is mood elevating. Then transfer to the Yuksom Village The first capital of Sikkim. Check in at Hotel and then visit the throne of 1st King of Sikkim. Leisure overnight.
Today after breakfast take a hike to Dubdi Monastry to see the first Monastry built in Sikkim. Then after visiting the monastery we will do some village walk. Then free at leisure on your own. Leisure overnight.
Today after breakfast Transfer to Bustee Farm House. On the way we will visit Tashiding Monastery, Bon Monastery and Buddha Park. Check in at Bustee Farm House. Leisure overnight.
Today after breakfast we will hike to Lingdum Monastery where we will do some Karma Yoga. This Yoga is a service what you can give to the Buddist Monastery. After this karma Yoga we Come back to Farm House and transfer for sightseeing around Gangtok. The places you will visit are Enchay Monastry, Rumtek Monastry, Tibetology, and Flower Show; Do Durl Chorten and Cottage Industry.Then walk around Gangtok. Tonight we will stay at Gangtok. Leisure overnight.
Today after breakfast transfer from Gangtok to Lachen Village. On the way sightseeing. The places you will visit are Tashi View Point, Seven Sister waterfall, Naga Waterfall, Singik View point. Check in at Guest house at Lachen Village.
After Breakfast transfer to Chopta Valley and back to Lachen have lunch and drive back to Lachung Village. On the way visit Bhim Waterfall and Twin Water fall. Check in at Hotel at Lachung. Leisure overnight.
After Breakfast transfer to Yumthang Valley, Singba Rohododendron and Hot Spring and back to Lachung have lunch and drive back to Gangtok. Check in at Hotel at Gangtok. Leisure overnight.
