Nagarkot and Dhulikhel are famous places to see the mountain ranges and sunrise. It lies at an altitude of 2211m and is located 30 km north east of Kathmandu. It is the nearest place to see Mt. Everest from Kathmandu valley. In fact if the weather is clears one can see Annapurna range too from Nagarkot. Other famous mountains that can be seen from Nagarkot are Ganesh, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker. Though Mt. Everest is far from Nagarkot, it can be viewed from the Nagarkot Tower.

Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The drive from the Kathmandu international airport to hotels in Kathmandu is not long as the airport is in the middle of the city,in 20 minutes time you are in the Hotel. Check into Hotel. Your are on your own for the rest of day.

After breakfast drive for the sightseeing of Boudhanath, a Buddhist Stupa and Pasupatinath, Bhaktapur city.And continue drive to Nagarkot hillside for Panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan range with sunset. Dinner and Overnight in resort at Nagarkot. OR And continue drive through Chandeswori Temple at Banepa OR Panauti to Dhulikhel; countryside through the beautiful scenery to watch the panoramic view of eastern Himalayan range with sunset. Early morning sunrise view from Nagarkot Hill. After breakfast drive for Changu Narayan temple and sightseeing of Thimi on the way back to Kathmandu. OR After breakfast watch the sunrise view from Dhulikhel and the surrounding village. Dhulikhel – Namobuddha - Dhulikhel visiting ancient monastery. Drive back to Kathmandu. PM: Free for individual activity. Namobuddha Monastery: When you stand on the premises of a near the Namobuddha monastery, you will simply be bowled over by its magnificence. Lifts your eyes from it and see around, you will see enjoy equally good views, down from the stream-basins to the mountaintops. Namobuddha is historically important and it is a great Buddhist pilgrimage destination where you can visit monastery. It is a small village which houses very old Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery which is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Nepal and one of the holiest in the world. It is known as the place where the Buddha, in a previous life as a prince, gave his body to a starving tigress and her cubs.
Day 04: Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Airport for onward journey flight.
