Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu.

  • Meeting and assistant at the airport. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu. Free day for leisure.

Day 02: Kathmandu: City tour of Boudanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Patan city (B)

  • After breakfast start sightseeing tour of Boudanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Patan city.The stupa of Boudhanath lies 8 kms east of Kathmandu. This ancient colossal stupa is one of the biggest in the world and the center of Buddhism in the world. It was listed in the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979. Pashupatinath is situated five kilometers east of Kathmandu and it is the temple of lord Shiva-Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors which is famous for its superb architecture. Patan Durbar Square, most prominent place to see is Krishna Mandir which was built in the seventeenth century. This temple holds a commanding position in the palace complex of Patan. It is supposed to be the first specimen of Shikara style architecture in Nepal. It is the only temple in Nepal having 21 spires and is completely made of stone. Golden Temple and Durbar Square are some important places to see in Patan.

Day 03: City tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bhaktapur city. In Kathmandu (B)

  • After breakfast- start the sightseeing tour of Kahmandu Durbar Square which is the historic seat of Shah Dynasty. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. It is here that Kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnized. Interesting things to seek here are; Taleju Temple built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 A.D., Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction, Nautalle Durbar, Coronation Nasal Chowk, the Gaddi Baithak, the statue of King Pratap Malla, the Big Bell, Drum and the Jagannath Temple. Swoyambhunath Stupa, atop the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. This city is still on the fringe of medieval age. Known as Bhadgaon, it is famous for making mask. Their mask dance is very impressive. Square around the palace (Durbar Square) has many temples built in pagoda style. Famous are a five storied Nyatapola temple built in 1708 AD and Dattatrya temple built in 1427 AD. The intricately carved peacock window and numerous fountain inside the palace are other attraction. You can extend the tour to Changunarayan (temple) located on a hill top. Changu Narayan is the temple of Vishnu, the Preserver, in the village of Changu in Bhaktapur. The origins of Changu Narayan goes back to the fourth century. A fifth century stone inscription in the temple proclaims it as one of the oldest shrines of the Kathmandu Valley. The temple is believed to be sixteen hundred years old. It is embellished by the best examples of stone, wood, and metal craft. After Changunaryan, returned to Kathmandu.

Day 04: Fly to Pokhara (30 minutes) – City tour in Pokhara (B)

  • Fly to Pokhara in the morning. Check into Hotel. After some rest and quick showers at Hotel, start city tour of Pokhara interest that includes the visit of fewa lake and Davi's fall. Lake in the immediate vicinity of the city is Phewa Tal with an Island temple dedicated to Goddess Barahi in the middle. With its serene water reflecting the Annapurna range and a nicely preserved forest on the adjoining southern slope, this legendry second largest lake of the Kingdom remains a major source of attraction for the visiting tourists. It can be explored in canoes locally known as doongas which are available on rent at several points on the lake. This lake can also be enjoyed by swiming and fishing. Fishing rods can be taken on rent from the lake side shops. Visit to the Davi's Fall locally known as Patale Chhango in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley left of the Siddartha Highway is amazing. At this point the stream overflowing Phewa lake suddenly collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several patholes before taking a final plunge.

Day 05: Drive to Kande (35 minutes), walk to Australian camp (2100m). Checked into Lodge/Guest House. Relax and enjoy (B,L,D)

  • Meet your guide at the airport or hotel in Pokhara and then drive to Kande; the drive is about 35 minutes. You drive through a large Tibetan camp at Hyanjha where local handicraft can be purchased and weaving of Tibetan carpet can be observed. Start trek from Kande, you start walking up hill to Australian camp. It takes about 1.5 hour easy walk up the stairs through the terraced rice field. It is a large Gurung village. There are several tea houses and lodge accommodations in this village. Along the hike you can see very impressive view of Annapurna Range including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South Hiuchuli, Annapurna II and IV and Lamjung Himal etc. O/N at Lodge/Tea house.

Day 06: Light hike to Dhampus (1650m) - 2/3 hours walk. O/N at Lodge/Guest House (B,L,D)

  • After breakfast leisurely start trek to Popthana. from Australian camp walking mostly uphill through cultivated fields and local villages. This scenic Gurung Village is inhabited by a mix of people: Gurung, Brahman, Magar communities and it offers a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges including the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare range after having a lunch at Pothana. Descent to Dhampus through rhododendron forest, is an easy and relaxing day.

Day 07: Descend to Phedi (1130m) -2 hours downhill walk and drive to Chitwan -160kms – 4 hours drive) (B,L,D)

  • After short hike - you go through a beautiful route to the famous Chitwan National Park where many protected species live, including the Bengal tiger and the rhinoceros. We stay three nights at the edge of the Chitwan Park Nattional. During your stay you will have the option of a spectacular safari on the back of an elephant through the jungle with meter high grass in search of rhinos and crocodiles.

Day 08: In Chitwan – jungle activites (B,L,D)

  • After breakfast, your adventure holiday starts off with canoeing in the Rapti River where you can see Gharial and then, a visit to the Elephant breeding center. After Lunch proceed to the jungle for a guided safari on Elephant where you are free to see animals such as rhino, antelope and other wildlife as you move through the jungle.

Day 09: Chitwan – Kathmandu (B,D)

  • After early jungle walk and breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Bharatpur airport in Chitwan, fly to Kathmandu. Pick up and transfer to Hotel. Free time to do shopping on your own. Evening would be farewell dinner at one of the Nepalese restaurant with cultural presentation.

Day 10: Kathmandu – Onward (B)

  • In the morning you have the last chance shopping in the busy Thamel with many shops filled with beautiful jewelry, hand-knotted carpets and other souvenirs. In the afternoon transfer to the airport and flight back to your home where you arrive the next day.

This tour is exclusive and private for those who are seeing comfortable hotels during their stay in Nepal, it is only for you,  tour departs as per youur choice dates. Hotels and trekking portion can be update or revised to suite your needs within our budgets. You fly to Pokhara, you have a choice to fly back from Chitwan to Kathmandu if you do not wish to drive back. Cost is based on minimum 2 person group size.
